i havnt gone 2 saddlewood, im going 2 kemur.

i went ot kemur for 3 years - its not as good at Saddlewood - not as many horses, not as good food - but, its ur choice

I went to Saddlewood for 5 years, and I LOVED it. They always pick the absolute perfect horse for you - you get your own horse for the two weeks, and the Smiths (the owners) are really good at assessing your level and picking a really great horse for you. (I adored all the horses I was assigned...one of them I even ended up bringing home for the winter) You learn so much, and you have soooooooo much fun...I still wish I could go back sometimes (and I'm 20!). The food's not THAT bad (trust me, I've been to other camps and it can be much, much worse). Ummm...what else...The cabins are pretty good (got to love indoor flush toilets...those tend to be rare at camp), and the evening activities are great - we had way too much fun with "Ugliest counseler night" and campfires with the greatest ghost stories...But the riding is incredible!


Anyway, if you guys have any questions, feel free to ask...Saddlewood has a message board too on their website, so you can always ask the other campers stuff that way.

Who wrote this question ? I think a bunch of girls from our barn have been to Saddlewood, it's a great camp.  They also have a website - www.saddlewood.ca  There is a picture of Leanne on it !!

lol - yeah - tht was 2004 - i rode sabrina and then in 2005 i rode samar....AWESOME

oh - i rode JJ once - weekend camp.....fun....well, not really.....totally different personality from oreo - s...l......o....w...e....r......if u have ne questions.....ask away!!! and tell me what session ur going to go!!!!

just if u were wondering......the sites....again.....hehe


oh, and if u go session 1, sometimes the owners have to get on.....dunno....but at weekend camp when they have only been off for a month, they have to be ridden before we get on.....


i ususally go after session 1 but....w/e
