Some topics get started on this message board and are gone so quickly because everyone is busy chatting (which is fine), however there was one topic about 7 screens earlier that I didn't get a chance to reply to. The topic was Monty. Go take a look if you'd like, Kristen started it.
It was about her experience in the paddock with Dianna and Sam and how they couldn't catch Monty one day. I think it's funny hearing about everyones experiences at the barn, but when you actually call my horse "stupid", "retarded", "a thing", that he is "annoying" and saying he neigh's in "his gay fashion" isn't really all that cool with me. It's too bad that I didn't see that post sooner because I would have had a chat with you girls. Because so much time has gone by, Im not mad, but Im still a little hurt that you would talk that way about Monty or ANY horse in the barn. Oh, and I don't even want to talk about the whole fact that Dianna threw a snowball at my horse....don't let me catch anybody throwing anything at any horse in that barn ever again!
Sometimes, there are things that you just have to keep to yourself. However, as I got to the end of the post, I read that Kristen didn't feel all that well after running around and eating all her crackers and that made me smile - oops....maybe that was something I should have kept to myself.

i agree with lori...expecialli since u dont have to be a member of the barn to read the messages...so it looks realli bad on the barn becuase monty is no where near ani of those comments
wuts worng with DISLIKING a horse (cough cough . OH an "LORI" i realli didn't mean to make it sound funni , i practisly threw up and almost fainted cuz of UR HORSE

I love Monty. He is so gorgeous. Yes his neighing can be really loud sometimes when you are standing right in front of his door but that is okay because that is who he is. It is also really funny when he gets the other horses neighing also. It shows who really rules the barn. Yeah Monty
I also love to watch the other girls ride Monty because it makes me try even harder so that 1 day I can be good enough to ride a horse like Monty.
I think that all the horses are great and am lucky we picked this barn to ride at. Yeah WES!
sry sry sry i was scared what would u have done if a large horse was galloping towards u ? and they were saying don't let him through sry but i didn't think he was gonna stop,,, well lori i'm realli sry and i hope u can forgive me
Ok heres the deal... Kristen just drop it dont say anything else... There is nothing wrong with dislikeing a horse. I havent always loved the horses I have been on...it's just something we all need to keep to ourselves. I know exactly how Lori feels... like when people clal my horse a "Bitch" Excuse the lanuage. But that really hurt when everyone called her that and said that she is all mean and is going to kill someone. No one in this whole barn has ever ever been hurt by Sabrina. Now that she is in the school all of you know that she doesnt do everything for you. Everyone said oh Sabrina is so easy she does everything for Helen...Helen just sits there. No offence but that is a load of crap. Sabrina is the B-E-S-T horse for everyone. You just have to get ot know here and care for her. Just like Monty... he is amazing with Jordan I have never seen a better match...same with Jess .... they know Monty so well and they have taken the time to bond with him. Hes not mean or angry or STUPID! If anything he is very smart... you think a horse is dumb because they dont listen to you or do something different... well sorry but 1. the horse doesnt understand what you are trying to say. or 2. you are doing it wrong ....it's mostly the riders fault. Monty is very smart and he finds ways to get around working but that does not mean that he is stupid. Horses have moods just like us... they arent always happy.... we can never really fully tell what they are... but everyone take the chance to listen to your horse, bong with your horse, love and care for your horse, even if its not yours treat it as if it is. Horses are living creatures and treat them with the respect you would like to be treated with. I'm not trying to be mean to anyone so dont take this the wrong way if any of you remember Liz from the old barn she gave me this talk cause i was just like you and i was like my pony dumb i want a new one and i was a little brat but even since i knew what Liz said and i understood it i had a whole new look on horses and my riding. So just stop and start from a good note
Okay i read the Monty thing and you even said Prince was stupid and that he tries to bit and you guys hate him. That really is mean... i dont know how you guys can talk like that. Prince is amazing he came here not knowing anything and he has come so far. I couldnt be more proud of him when i saw what you guys said i honestly thought i would brust into tears. Hes not stupid nor is monty ....guys horses cant always trust people... just like people cant always trust horses. I'm going to leave my post like this but please please dont say stuff like that it really really hurts. Even more when the horse means alot to you...like Prince does to me and many others ....as well as Monty does to Loria dn amny others. So the next time you are at the barn EVERYONE... take the time to know your horse say sorry to the others who you were mean to and give them a hug or a treat. Horses can sense what you are thinking I have cried like a million times in front of Sabs and she was there and held her head low in my hands which made me cry more cause i knew she cared and loved me. So love yourselves and you horse

GO HELEN GO!!!!!!!!! that was soo right i totally agree! There is like no better way to say it!!!and the only thing that gets me is if he wasnt comming why didnt anione use treats??? next time i think you should all try that! lol bring a bucket of carrots and shake it or grab a carot and have one person go out so it doesnt look so scary having a bunch of peopel run at him! i would be scared too if i were him! and realli all adorable animals liek him love food lol, trust me i thinkhe realli looks forward to his end of lesson treats lol! well i think that was a good end to that convo, thanks to helen! (yay go her!) and prince is such a cutie!!! and he isnt as bad as u kids are making him sound!!!
Jordan
P.S. keep the peace guys, if u dont have anithing nice to say dont say it...expecialli not over the internet! lmao
sry sry sry i was scared what would u have done if a large horse was galloping towards u ? and they were saying don't let him through sry but i didn't think he was gonna stop,,, well lori i'm realli sry and i hope u can forgive me
Of course I forgive you Dianna, although I have had a "large horse galloping towards me" and basically I just moved out of the way. Just remember, if a horse is doing something like that to you again, stop and think for a sec and ask yourself why the horse is acting this way, because there is always a reason, then try and figure out what you could do to fix the problem (which doesn't involve throwing snowballs :) Sometimes if you stop and calm down, so will the horse.

WOW jordan all thast stuff about monty is pretty deep lol ur like the horse whisperer i like monty...if he was a person hed be really chatty and maybe a bit braggy because he is so GORGEOUS. and i agree with u 100% Neleh wen i started riding dylan i didnt like it cuz he was so different from oreo and it frustrated me cuz it took me longer to get him to trott and stuff but now that im used to him and took the time to ride him and gett better with him im alot better and i luv him. nd it really wasnt his fault like i cudnt get him to move and it was totally me dylan didnt move cuz i wasnt strong enuf and i didnt like make him go. so yea u cant really blame the horse all the time cuz usually ur doing sumthing wrong or sumthing the horse dosnt like.
Neleh and lori are right it dose hurt wen u hear ppl say mean things about ur horse..i dont own a horse but most of my friends hate my dog and their always talking about my dog saying how shes fat and big and slobbers and she sux and wen they cum to my house and my dog cums up to them to say hi that run awayy saying eww eww eww and it really hurts its like its my dog and i luv her and shes a good dog she dose drool but its her breed and she so friendly and loyal and she wud NEVER bite neone so yea its like wen sumone disses ur parents.
AND that is amazing advice there at the end of ur post neleh i never really taken the time to meet sabs but i will and i will also take the time to meet mac cuz iv always kinda been scared of him and i will apologize to prince for thinking he was a mean horse after that night me and kristen had to get jake and toby and he bit one of them and there was a fight so yea good post helen
LOL i agree with u on the treats thing jordan wen my dog dosnt cum inside we just go get a cookie:P
