hey is any one going to the show at our barn on sunday??? im not really sure whats going on with that ill probobly go and compete against helen lol or maybe we could ask sherri about combining our division with the 2 foot ons so that we are all competeing against each other but helen and i could go last and have the jumps raised for us so that its harder for us and the competition is still fair cuz honestly its not really worth it for me and helen to come and just compete against each other we would either get 1st or 2nd theres no real competition what do you guys think???
nooooooooooooooooooo don't compete against us!!!! then i'll looseeeeeee! and i really need to beat taylor in the points thing! just compete against each other! you guys competing against us is not really competion u'll just win! pleaseeeeeeeeeeee!
It's Allicia here, First off Sarah I really thought you were ten times more mature then to post something that ridiculous. People can ride for 20 years and be beat out, people have off days! I've been riding for 16 years and I've been beat'n out by girls half my age on A-Circuit Ponies. Or just because I wasn't that good that day.
Second off...to everyone here, just because you jump higher than someone, just because you have been riding longer does not mean you have the right to ever think you're better. I teach girls at camp who've never been on a horse and they surpass some girls who've been riding for 4 years. Everyone rides differently, different styles, seats, positions and with different confidence.
Third of all. I just wanted to tell you that I think you need to grow up. And I wouldn't have expected something so immature from you. And to all the girls that rode congratulations because I heard everyone did an amazing job.
And to everyone going to the Fox hunter show, I'll see you in the ring :D and I wish you all really good luck.
I think there is a mountain here being made out of a mole hill.
Girls, you all rode very well at the show on Sunday. You should probably look to yourself for any mistakes you made to help make yourself better at the next show. Compete against yourself...that is, take a look at what you did or didn't do, not what someone else did or didn't do, and use what you see in your riding to better yourself.
You know that Lori and Sherri will help you whenever they can or whenever you ask. We have a great group of kids at WES who have been together for some time now, and OUR BARN CAN BEAT ANY BARN OUT THERE!!! Let's get together and have a great show season.
Allicia first of all this whole thing has absolutely nothing to do with you but for your information and just so that you dont go off thinking im a total snob i was really dissapointed with what happened on sunday because it doesnt make sense i wasnt trying to get 1st place i really dont care and yea i know that sam and corry and all of those guys are really good riders but there were some people there with really not so great rounds that helen and i shouldnt have lost to and it has nothing to do with who it is or how long any one has been riding helen and i and our parents thought that the judging was not fair at all . . . almost biased against us you werent even there so how can you judge whether im being immature about it or if i actually have a point im not saying that i have to win every thing but you have to admit it does kinda make helen and i look bad if we get fifth place againt the kids who are supposed to be coming to camp when we are the ones who teach at camp wouldnt you agree??? and the thing is i WASNT having an off day i was doing fine! and i actually called sherri about it and she agreed with me that it didnt make sense and she was going to look over the judges notes
and i was kidding sam although i wasnt happy i didnt care so much about the winning its what i said to allicia i was totally kidding about the 11 years thing i guess thats what happens when ppl stick their noses in other peoples buisness
im sorry to everyone i offended or "wowd" i guess im just a selfish cheap brat and its obvious that im not worthy to be at your barn i missunderstood something that i tried to clear up in the post i sent to lori but i cleared it up with the people whom it concerned and i feel really bad about it and i am not allowed to compete at WES any more ever but i also feel bad that allicia missunderstood my first post i guess sarcasm doesnt show up to well typed im not even going to try to state my case again because its obvious that once you guys have picked sides there is no point in even trying to explain myself im not a bad person but i just have one more point lori you wouldnt have gotten mad if we went to pauseawhile and i or anyone else questioned the judging so why does it make such a difference when its at home? now please dont take this the wrong way im not trying to be stupid but its not like it was sherri ro someone who goes to the barn that was judging i didnt know the points that were said against me in the class until today so until today i didnt know why i placed the way i did and helen suggested the thing about the judging and for some stupid reason it seemed to fit (not that it mattered to me) and my parents kinda ran away with it and got me in huge sh*t with sherri but we discussed it and looked over the judges notes and worked on our problems today in our lesson
don't worry sarah i don't think your a bad person.. i didn't know that you felt that way about the show but i can understand where your coming from... i'm sorry.. i guess i kinda started this with the whole your older than us thing... i was just kidding i don't really care if you and helen compete with us, you guys are both really good riders and i'm sorry i got you all worked up.
I think it sounds like a lot of misunderstandings all the way around.
Maybe talking on this message board is not a good idea sometimes. You are all GOOD girls and GOOD riders in your own way, whether you have been riding 10 yrs or 2 yrs. Riding is FUN and should remain so, don't you all think?
