Hey guys - now that it's almost time to start showing again, I'd like to know what each of you is working on as your realistic goals for the next couple months? 


I asked Jess this question on Sunday, her reply was that she would like to be able to tack up Monty on her own.....she's too short to put the saddle on!   I said that was a great start, but then she also said she would like to work on Monty doing his flying lead changes.  So that's what we work on now, and everything else will just fall into place.


So what is everyone else working on?  There has to be something that each of you says to yourself when you get on the horse each week - "I have to remember to ........ "

Hmm Goals....?


1. Ensure daughter has plenty of sleep the night before followed by a high carb breakfast.


2. Ensure everything required for show is packed in the car and daughter arrives on time to the barn.


3. Ensure voice is always well rested for full participation in the WES cheering section.

for me my goals are to always get kocheym's right lead going his bad way, and the usual thumbs on top, eyes up, sit down, back straight, bending.... just always need to remeber everything! lol

for me and Dylie i wanna work on establishing a nice pace and keeping him moving, stop flopping after the jump and to wait for Dylie b4 i go in 2point

umm wit sabs i want 2 have a good pase and to go with her over the jumps and hold mi 2point longer 2 flow with her large jump hopefully we'll do good lol

w/ curti i hav 2 work on pace, separating my hands (yes, it does sound stupid. lol) and bending. and i hope we'll do well 2!!!

lol gabby it seems like were opposite cuz i lift up mi hands but don't realli hold mi release well but gabby like sorta keeps her hands together and low but releases lol good times

well i havent ridden in like fro eva also i got 2 checkmaredks today ! cuz icame hom and right awaay did my Hw and then i cleaned my room and did my kumon, thats the only 3 things my parents get mad at me for (besides my mouth) and i did it without being asked  so i am really happy
