Just wanted to remind everyone who is slightly interested, pretty interested, really interested or very very interested in doing any off property showing (schooling or trillium) this year, we have a meeting coming up on Saturday January 21st at 3pm in the lounge. That's this weekend, so mark it down on your calendars.
One very important thing is that you have to bring a parent with you. Both parents is fine too, but one parent is a must. We want to be able to make sure all the information is given to them correctly, so having one of them there is a good idea. If that's not possible, then I would strongly recommend that you bring paper and a pen to take notes to give to them when you get home.
It's getting really close....our first scheduled off property show is for April 9th !! We will go over the shows that we are going to attend and the costs involved. If any of you have any questions, make sure you bring them with you on Saturday.

It means alot to the girls (and boys?) and is an awesome way to showcase the talent that we have in our little barn!
I think that it is a great learning tool as the mental preparation part of riding off-site can overwhelm many. This is a great way to get over the jitters and get down to business knowing that in the worse case scenario you go home with knowing you did your best and a slightly bruised ego.
But...nothing a big chocolate sundae can't fix.

For anyone who isn't able to make it or doesn't have a parent coming, just make sure you come with some paper and a pen to take notes so you don't forget anything. I think a couple of you said you will be taking notes for come people who can't make it, which I think is a good idea.
We probably won't bring up the topic of what horse you will be showing. That all depends on what you and your coach work out over the winter. Hopefully, by now, everyone has started doing some horse show prep in their lessons and getting ready for spring
