Hi everybody....just wanted to know if anyone is going to the Royal this year? If you are what day/night are you going? Im going on Nov.11 at night. There is an International Jumper class and the Carriage Durby - which is so fun to watch.
Hopefully I'll see a couple of you there too.

Can't wait to see you guys there, Sarah. It will be a fun night...gotta love those carriage racers, they are hilarious. Were you there last year to see them? The German team leader and his horse named Rolex - he kept shouting it while they were going around the course, it was pretty funny.
Anyways, see you there - have fun shopping during the day

The German guy rocks! He is the highlight of the fair for me! I cheer him on regardless that the Swedes seem to win every year. The things he says are priceless, "GET UP! GET UP! VHAT ARE YOU DOING! STAND UP AND CLAP YA!" and so on.
Other than the German racing team, there are the exhibits and the food... the great greasy, burgers, hotdogs, beaver tails, fudge, all flavours of ice cream, and the list goes on. Then, there is the jumping show at night. While I'm not the biggest horsey person watching those HUGE beasts leap over 5' and up poles, let alone with people on their back's is quite a feat for anyone, (horse and rider). Overall, it has turned out in the past to be a pretty fun day/evening.
Guess I've basically given myself away in this post. Oh well.

Hey Gab, sounds like you are going on Nov.12 - that's the final day and in the evening there is the Big Ben Challange, that always attracts the rich people, keep an eye out for all those tux's and mink coats :)

Hey, if anyone wants to go to the Royal between the 7th and 10th, let me know. I have free passes to get in - just to get into the Royal, not in to see a show, you need to buy tickets, but if anyone wanted to just go and walk around and check stuff out, let me know, I'll give you my passes.
